Overview
The Sr. UX Researcher will play a pivotal role in advancing user experience research excellence within a dynamic team environment. Reporting to the Director of UX Research, this position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and execute both moderated and unmoderated qualitative studies, aimed at understanding client objectives and enhancing user experiences across digital platforms. This remote role offers flexibility in scheduling, catering to the needs of the business and clients, particularly during peak periods.
Responsibilities
- Drive UX research excellence by understanding client objectives and applying appropriate research methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and conduct qualitative studies, including interviews and usability testing.
- Prepare comprehensive research plans and present findings to clients, providing actionable insights.
- Influence and maintain relationships with technology clients, engaging with mid to senior executives.
- Coach and mentor junior researchers to enhance team capabilities and research quality.
- Adapt research strategies based on project demands, managing workload effectively to meet business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in User Experience Research roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research across the product design lifecycle.
- Proficient in conducting one-on-one interviews and both moderated and unmoderated studies.
- Ability to run research studies independently from planning to presenting results.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working within larger cross-functional teams.
- Experience with research and design tools such as Qualtrics, Lookback, and Figma.
- Preferred experience in retail e-commerce within a luxury brand context or working within a UX agency setting.
