Overview
The Senior Researcher will collaborate with a boutique transformation consultancy on a public sector project, focusing on mixed methods research. This role involves leveraging both qualitative and quantitative research techniques to provide insights that guide strategic decisions. The researcher will work closely with stakeholders to develop surveys, conduct interviews, and analyze data, contributing to impactful reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and run stakeholder surveys including questionnaire design and statistical analysis.
- Conduct and moderate qualitative interviews and focus groups with senior stakeholders.
- Analyze qualitative data and produce thematic reports.<br>Combine survey and interview findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for GDPR and the MRS Code of Conduct.
- Collaborate closely with teams to meet project objectives and timelines.
- Travel occasionally for in-person research activities and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Researcher with a mixed methods skillset in both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Expertise in designing and executing stakeholder surveys, including statistical analysis using tools like SPSS or Q.
- Experience conducting interviews and focus group discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques and ability to synthesize findings into comprehensive reports.
- Familiarity with the MRS Code of Conduct and GDPR regulations.
- Ability to communicate research findings clearly and effectively.
