Overview
The Senior Software Engineer will join an ambitious early-stage HealthTech company dedicated to developing a leading consumer healthcare product aimed at improving health understanding and illness prevention. The role entails collaborating closely with a dynamic team, including the CTO and various specialists, to drive product development from ideation through to implementation in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions using Python, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features.
- Take a product-minded approach to engineering, considering the purpose behind features.
- Work across the entire technology stack, including APIs, databases, and integrations.
- Participate in the design and implementation of user-facing applications using React Native.
- Iterate on product features based on user feedback and testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Python engineering, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
- Experience in building new products or features from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with full-stack development and integrating various systems.
- Experience in React is expected; React Native experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI technology is beneficial but not essential.
- Prior experience in a regulated industry, particularly HealthTech, is a bonus.
