Overview
We are seeking a Data Implementation Specialist to assist in onboarding and supporting customer data within our platform, contributing to the improvement of forecasting and decision-making in the fresh food sector. The contractor will work remotely and collaborate closely with Account Managers and customer IT/data teams to ensure effective data integration and quality management. This position focuses on utilizing existing tools for data configuration, rather than software development.
Responsibilities
- Understand and investigate customer datasets from various sources including Excel, databases, and APIs.
- Configure ETL pipelines using our Pandas-based framework.
- Set up mappings, joins, filters, calculations, and master-data structures.
- Reconcile source data and address data quality issues.
- Maintain existing customer integrations as their data evolves.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and customer IT/data teams.
Requirements
- Proficient in using Pandas for data manipulation.
- Strong understanding of data concepts like joins, keys, and data reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience managing messy, real-world business data.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Fluent professional English communication skills.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, ERP, or software implementation is a plus.
- Familiarity with supply chain, FMCG, or fresh produce is beneficial.
