Overview
We are seeking two experienced Senior Solutions Architects for a 6-month contract focused on a major transformation programme within Financial Services. These individuals will collaborate with business teams to understand their processes and requirements, translating them into comprehensive solution designs and overseeing the technical design and engineering handover. Their expertise in Microsoft Azure and UK retail banking will be vital for the success of this initiative.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand processes.
- Translate business needs into effective solution designs.
- Create detailed technical designs and oversee handover to engineering teams.
- Develop architecture artifacts that facilitate clear communication across teams.
- Ensure solutions align with integration, event-driven architecture, and performance requirements.
- Demonstrate leadership in Solution Architecture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain effective communication with Business Analysts and technical teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Solutions Architect with a strong end-to-end background.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with UK retail banking, particularly in Mortgages and Savings.
- Experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes in a structured environment.
- Ability to translate complex business processes into technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of architecture patterns and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Experience in creating relevant architecture documentation and working independently.
