Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Services Architect to join a critical transformation programme in the financial services sector. In this hybrid contract role, you will work at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and operations to shape and govern service architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy. You will leverage your extensive experience to design scalable and cost-effective service models while collaborating with various stakeholders, guiding them through significant technology and business changes.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and deliver client operating models and service-specific solutions.
- Conduct assessments on ITSM maturity and MSP compliance for clients.
- Gather and document operational requirements to ensure alignment throughout service design phases.
- Design and implement governance frameworks addressing reporting, compliance, and risk management.
- Lead organisational design and transformation initiatives.
- Guide clients through MSP transitions, including outsourcing processes.
- Contribute to the enhancement of service offerings and develop pre-sales materials.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a service management advisory or consulting role.
- ITIL certification is preferred along with substantial practical experience.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF is advantageous.
- Strong background in IT operations and service management tool integration.
- Experience with service architecture principles in technical initiatives such as cloud migrations.
- Understanding of modern technology environments, including cloud and AI infrastructure.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one technical area (e.g., networking, security).
- Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
