Overview
The role of the Contract Full Stack .NET Developer involves collaborating with an established team to enhance and maintain a critical enterprise application. This fully remote position is designed for experienced developers who can quickly navigate existing codebases and deliver new functionality while troubleshooting issues. The contractor will actively contribute to both backend and frontend development, ensuring the application meets business needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance a business-critical application using C#/.NET.
- Design, develop, and implement new features for backend and frontend components.
- Investigate application issues and provide effective fixes.
- Ensure changes to the codebase are maintainable and minimize regression risks.
- Support application testing, bug fixing, and controlled releases.
- Collaborate with the development team to efficiently meet project requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot live application issues.
Requirements
- Strong commercial development experience with C# and .NET.
- Frontend development experience using Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.
- Experience maintaining and enhancing existing production applications.
- Familiarity with backend application logic and frontend user interfaces.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and SaaS applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of API development and integration is desirable.
- Experience in modernizing mature .NET applications is advantageous.
