Overview
We are seeking experienced eDV-cleared Software Engineers to support various projects in the national security and defence sectors. The successful candidates will collaborate with project teams across multiple locations, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and technologies. This role requires a commitment to on-site work for 2-3 days per week in London, Cheltenham, or Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions using Java, Python/FastAPI, .NET/C#, React, and Node.js.
- Implement API and microservices architecture to enhance system functionality.
- Utilize cloud and containerized environments for software deployment and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery meets technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to secure software engineering practices in a national security environment.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
Requirements
- Active eDV clearance is mandatory.
- Strong commercial experience in software engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex technical projects.
- Familiarity with secure/national security environments.
- Willingness to work on-site 2-3 days per week in specified locations.
- Experience with modern software engineering practices and technologies (Java, Python, .NET, etc.).
