Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Azure to join a cloud transformation program for a leading client in the Specialty Insurance sector. The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership during a critical phase of delivery, helping to shape the Azure target state, define migration strategies, and work alongside engineering teams to ensure project success. This hybrid position allows for flexibility while contributing to enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead Azure estate discovery and current-state assessment activities.
- Define cloud migration strategies and delivery road-maps.
- Conduct Azure Landing Zone readiness assessments and provide recommendations.
- Design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions.
- Establish technical governance, standards, and best practices.
- Manage cross-functional dependencies across multiple work-streams.
- Support cloud adoption and migration planning activities.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align business and technical objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with deep expertise in Azure Cloud.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and delivering Azure solutions.
- Strong understanding of Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework principles.
- Experience planning and executing cloud migration programs.
- Excellent knowledge of Azure networking, identity, security, and governance models.
- Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent).
- Experience working within regulated environments.
