Overview
The AI Engineer - LLM & Agentic Systems will focus on designing and building AI agents and workflows that integrate large language models (LLMs) to solve complex business challenges. This position involves end-to-end responsibility for delivering AI solutions, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring the system’s observability and maintainability. The contractor will work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the expansion of AI capabilities and delivering production-grade systems at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents and agentic workflows using LLMs.
- Own delivery from exploration to production deployment and ongoing iteration.
- Utilize architectures like MCP/FastMCP/FastAPI and frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
- Integrate AI into products, APIs, and business workflows while considering performance constraints.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain observability and longevity of systems.
- Ensure that systems support real-world usability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering production-grade LLM-powered systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI agents, tool orchestration, and multi-step reasoning.
- Strong proficiency in Python and solid foundations in machine learning principles.
- Experience with cloud deployment on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to build scalable systems with a user-centric product mindset.
- Master's degree in a related field (mathematics, science, or computer science) or equivalent experience.
