Overview
This role for a Data Engineer focuses on delivering advanced BI solutions within a complex enterprise environment, utilizing Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The contractor will work closely with a major enterprise client to design and implement scalable dashboards and semantic models, integrating best practices for performance and security into their work.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable Power BI solutions.
- Build dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and semantic models.
- Work across Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Pipelines.
- Integrate Power BI with Fabric semantic models.
- Support performance, security, and BI best practices.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- Solid understanding of enterprise BI architecture.
- Experience with Direct Lake and Real-Time Analytics is a plus.
