Overview
In this role as a Solutions Architect, you will be pivotal in designing systems and cloud architecture for client projects. You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and shape the technical approach while guiding engineering teams in executing your designs. This position offers the opportunity to work with dynamic project teams and engage in client discussions from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Design systems and cloud architecture for client projects.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and define technical approaches.
- Guide engineering teams on implementing the designed systems.
- Build proofs of concept to validate ideas.
- Review technical decisions for live projects, focusing on security.
- Assist in estimating new work based on project requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing systems as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in designing cloud architecture for production systems, preferably on AWS.
- Experience working directly with clients to finalize project scopes.
- Ability to convey technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and product owners.
- Experience with TypeScript, Python, or Node is beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with conducting technical reviews across multiple teams is a plus.
- Previous experience in a consultancy or agency environment is advantageous.
