Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Full Stack Engineer on a contract basis, primarily focused on Rust and Java, with additional experience in React and Python. Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Rust and Java.
- Build high-performance, reliable systems with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain modern customer-facing applications using React.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, and integrations using Python.
- Take ownership of complex features from design to production delivery.
- Collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to deliver impactful functionality.
- Influence technical direction, engineering standards, and architectural decisions.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools for coding and debugging.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Senior or Staff-level Full Stack/Backend Engineer.
- Strong backend engineering expertise in Rust and Java, with solid proficiency in both.
- Commercial experience in developing frontend applications using React.
- Hands-on experience with Python for backend services and APIs.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native development.
- Experience in designing and maintaining production-grade systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to onboard quickly and deliver fast value in a contractor role.
