Overview
We are seeking an experienced SQL/PostgreSQL Data Architect for a contract opportunity to support a leading insurance organization in the evolution of its enterprise data platforms. The successful contractor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive critical transformation initiatives in a regulated environment, providing expertise in data architecture and advanced SQL functionalities. This hybrid role requires on-site presence 2-3 days a week in London to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the team.

Requirements
- Proven experience in Data Architecture or Database Architecture.
- Advanced expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Strong background in data modelling, migration, and optimisation.
- Experience in regulated environments, particularly in insurance.
- Knowledge of data lake or analytics platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.
- Familiarity with insurance domain concepts including policy and claims data.
- London Market insurance experience is essential.
