Overview
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for an Outside IR35 contract with a key client. This hybrid role offers an initial 6-month contract period with opportunities for extension, and focuses on utilizing AWS technologies and practices to support the client's infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks with Terraform.
- Utilize AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda.
- Manage containerized applications using AWS ECS and Docker.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate Python applications with cloud services.
- Optimize data workflows with Snowflake.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with AWS serverless stack and Lambda.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Familiarity with Docker and AWS ECS for container management.
- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control.
- Knowledge of Python as an application language.
- Understanding of AWS CDK for infrastructure management.
