Overview
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead the testing efforts within a major technology and business transformation programme. The successful candidate will coordinate testing activities across various teams, ensuring that the solution is rigorously validated in preparation for a successful go-live. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to manage risks, dependencies, and testing quality throughout the programme.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the overall testing approach for the project.
- Coordinate testing activities across business and technical teams.
- Develop test planning, governance, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure that testing activities are delivered on schedule and within scope.
- Identify and manage risks and dependencies throughout the testing phase.
- Provide visibility into testing progress, quality, and readiness to senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with external partners to align testing strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Lead.
- Strong background in managing testing for complex transformation programmes.
- Experience in ERP, retail, or eCommerce environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with established testing and defect management tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management and communication.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with a pragmatic approach to delivery.
