Overview
The Software Test Engineer will join a leading technology business to focus on web application testing for an initial 9-month contract. This role will involve both manual and automated testing efforts, working closely with development teams to ensure the quality and functionality of web applications and wireless devices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing for web applications and wireless devices.
- Utilize testing frameworks, including Selenium and/or Playwright, to develop and execute automated test scripts.
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases based on functional requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues found during testing.
- Evaluate test methodologies and suggest improvements to current testing practices.
- Document test results and provide feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Experience with testing frameworks, including NUnit.
- Strong programming skills in C# and/or Python.
- Familiarity with testing wireless devices.
- Deep understanding of functional testing principles and methodologies.
