Overview
We are seeking an experienced User Researcher for a 3-6 month contract, primarily focused on a public sector project. The successful candidate will collaborate with multi-functional agile teams, including Product Managers and Interaction Designers, to conduct comprehensive user research and analysis. This role is remote-first with occasional travel, emphasizing effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research using various methods to discover and evaluate user needs.
- Synthesize research findings to inform product development and design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and interaction designers in an agile environment.
- Gather and analyze feedback from diverse sources, including surveys, support tickets, and user testing.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure their input and feedback are effectively incorporated.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a User Researcher, especially within government or public sector projects.
- Experience working in multi-functional agile teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to plan and conduct a variety of user research methods.
- Familiarity with gathering and analyzing feedback from multiple data sources.
