Overview
The role of Contract Agile Business Analyst is essential for advancing a significant core systems modernization program within the commerce and supply chain sectors. The contractor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze current operational processes, define business requirements, and support the transition to a SaaS solution. This position requires effective stakeholder management and strong analytical skills to ensure alignment across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and analysis across operational domains to understand current-state processes and pain points.
- Elicit, define, and manage business requirements to support process harmonization and platform consolidation.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align teams on outcomes and priorities.
- Produce clear documentation including process maps and functional requirements.
- Partner with product, engineering, and vendor teams to translate business needs into SaaS requirements.
- Support evaluation of solution options, including gap analysis of current capabilities.
- Contribute to governance and delivery practices to ensure requirements are aligned with program goals.
- Assist in change readiness by helping stakeholders understand impacts on processes and roles.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in logistics, transport, or supply chain environments.
- Strong understanding of operational processes in Freight, including shipment lifecycle and customer service workflows.
- Experience with core systems modernization and platform consolidation programs.
- Exposure to SaaS implementations and collaboration with third-party vendors.
- Confident stakeholder management skills and capability to drive alignment in complex environments.
- Strong process modeling and requirements engineering skills to create structured delivery artifacts.
- Ability to identify opportunities for standardization and simplification of processes.
