Overview
The Automotive Technical Trainer will be engaged for a 12-month contract to provide comprehensive training to automotive personnel, helping to enhance their technical knowledge and diagnostic skills. Working on-site in Nottingham, the trainer will collaborate closely with the technical training team to deliver engaging and practical training tailored to various skill levels. The role supports a rapidly growing automotive client focused on strengthening its dealer network and technical capabilities within the UK.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical training to automotive technicians and relevant personnel.
- Provide practical and classroom-based technical instruction.
- Support learners in developing their understanding of vehicle systems, technology, and diagnostic processes.
- Adapt training delivery to accommodate different levels of technical knowledge and experience.
- Provide clear explanations of complex technical information in an accessible way.
- Support practical demonstrations, assessments, and hands-on learning activities.

Requirements
- Previous experience working within an automotive technical training environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies.
- Experience delivering technical training to automotive technicians or similar technical audiences.
- Strong practical automotive/vehicle technical background.
- Confident delivering both classroom and practical training.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
