AV Project Manager

Overview

The AV Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of audio-visual projects from inception to completion, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves acting as the primary contact for clients and managing relationships with vendors, providing technical guidance and support while developing and monitoring project budgets. The Project Manager will also document project progress and develop strategies to mitigate risks, all while supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of AV projects from start to finish.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including designers and engineers, to coordinate project efforts.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and subcontractors to ensure service quality.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure AV systems meet specifications.
  • Develop and manage project budgets to control costs and meet financial targets.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules and progress reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in AV project management or strong AV project knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of AV technologies including video conferencing and sound systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
