Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the public sector for a remote 12-month contract position. The ideal candidate will take charge of payment and reporting projects, focusing on data warehousing, data modeling, invoicing, payment applications, and reporting. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams and stakeholders while navigating the complexities of project delivery in a challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive project delivery for payment and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure effective communication and project execution.
- Oversee the development of data warehousing and reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate the design and implementation of payment invoicing applications and related data processes.
- Support the team in understanding and implementing collaborative project management practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and external clients.
- Promote team morale and support team members in a challenging project environment.
- Ensure compliance with BPSS/CTC security requirements and coordinate with necessary teams during the clearance process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically within the public sector.
- Strong technical knowledge in Azure and cloud technologies.
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and reporting solutions.
- Demonstrated capability in delivering payment and invoicing applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster collaboration.
- Track record of problem-solving and leading teams through difficult project phases.
- Ability to articulate collaborative strategies and provide substantial examples of past success.
