Information Technology Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a new finance/ERP platform for a prominent UK mental health organization. The contract role requires managing software vendors and working alongside finance and technology teams to ensure successful project execution from inception to go-live. This position is fully remote and is open exclusively to candidates based in the UK, with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities

  • Own the finance systems implementation from mobilisation through to go-live.
  • Build and manage the overall project plan against the April delivery deadline.
  • Coordinate the software vendor and implementation partners.
  • Manage stakeholders across Finance, Technology and the wider organisation.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and escalations.
  • Coordinate data migration, testing, UAT and business readiness activities.
  • Manage cutover planning and transition into business as usual (BAU).
  • Provide clear reporting and governance throughout the programme.

Requirements

  • Strong project management experience within finance systems or ERP implementations.
  • Previous experience delivering a finance system replacement end-to-end.
  • Experience managing software vendors and third-party implementation partners.
  • Strong finance and senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience managing complex project plans, dependencies, risks and milestones.
  • Understanding of data migration, testing/UAT, cutover and go-live processes.
  • Strong governance, RAID and project reporting experience.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite and/or Xero is advantageous but not essential.
