Overview
We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a new finance/ERP platform for a prominent UK mental health organization. The contract role requires managing software vendors and working alongside finance and technology teams to ensure successful project execution from inception to go-live. This position is fully remote and is open exclusively to candidates based in the UK, with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities
- Own the finance systems implementation from mobilisation through to go-live.
- Build and manage the overall project plan against the April delivery deadline.
- Coordinate the software vendor and implementation partners.
- Manage stakeholders across Finance, Technology and the wider organisation.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and escalations.
- Coordinate data migration, testing, UAT and business readiness activities.
- Manage cutover planning and transition into business as usual (BAU).
- Provide clear reporting and governance throughout the programme.
Requirements
- Strong project management experience within finance systems or ERP implementations.
- Previous experience delivering a finance system replacement end-to-end.
- Experience managing software vendors and third-party implementation partners.
- Strong finance and senior stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing complex project plans, dependencies, risks and milestones.
- Understanding of data migration, testing/UAT, cutover and go-live processes.
- Strong governance, RAID and project reporting experience.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and/or Xero is advantageous but not essential.
