Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure AI Consultant to play a pivotal role in establishing Azure AI capabilities for a leading professional services organization. This fully remote position involves supporting the development of the organization's first AI application and transferring critical knowledge to the existing engineering team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Azure AI and contribute both technically and as a mentor to the team.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of an AI-first application using Azure AI technologies.
- Establish Azure AI Foundry environments and capabilities from the ground up.
- Configure and deploy large language models (LLMs) within Azure.
- Connect internal business data to LLMs, focusing on model customization and fine-tuning.
- Act as a hands-on technical subject matter expert (SME) and trusted advisor.
- Train and mentor the existing engineering team on Azure AI best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry.
- Proven track record in configuring and deploying models within Azure.
- Ability to establish Azure AI Foundry capabilities in an enterprise environment.
- Experience working with AI Agents and agentic AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of Azure AI architecture, security, and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to connect proprietary business data to LLMs.
- Prior experience in mentoring and upskilling engineering teams is essential.
