Overview
The Boomi Architect role is a three-month rolling contract primarily focused on leading integration projects for a large-scale government IT transformation initiative. The contractor will work remotely with some occasional travel to office locations. This position offers an opportunity to influence strategic integration solutions, ensuring effective architecture and governance throughout the integration lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to onboard priority projects onto the strategic integration platform.
- Produce project-specific integration designs aligned with approved patterns.
- Conduct architecture assurance reviews and provide design recommendations.
- Support projects during the technical discovery, design, and implementation phases.
- Design and document reusable implementation patterns and reference architectures.
- Lead the development of API management capabilities and establish governance processes.
- Define architecture requirements for operational readiness and disaster recovery.
- Establish and oversee architecture review processes for integrations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Boomi Solution Architect with a strong focus on iPaaS and API Management.
- Knowledge of integration architecture and event streaming concepts.
- Experience in conducting architecture reviews and providing design guidance.
- Ability to document integration standards and governance approaches.
- Strong technical leadership skills with experience coaching agile teams.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery integrations.
- Experience identifying capability gaps and supporting proof-of-concepts in integration.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data sharing requirements and design solutions.
