Overview
We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst with a strong background in Finance and Process Improvement to drive business automation initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals who can quickly assess and enhance business operations, engaging effectively with senior stakeholders. The Business Analyst will be involved in mapping processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of workflow automation tools within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops to capture business requirements and identify opportunities.
- Map existing and future Finance processes to enhance efficiency.
- Identify and recommend simplifications to workflows and controls while automating manual tasks.
- Translate business requirements into detailed process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of workflow management tools like Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Asana.
- Collaborate with business and delivery teams to facilitate testing and user adoption.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on process improvement and business transformation.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing Finance processes and liaising with Finance stakeholders.
- Strong skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, and workshop facilitation.
- Practical experience with workflow automation or project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Asana.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders constructively and drive project ownership.
- Proactive and pragmatic mindset with the ability to deliver impactful results quickly.
