Overview
The CMS Business Analyst will engage directly with clients, leading workshops to identify their digital needs and translate these into clear requirements for a headless content management system. Working closely with stakeholders, this role aims to enhance customer experiences as part of an overarching eCommerce transformation initiative, while contributing to agile delivery iterations. This position requires collaboration with developers and solution architects to support system integration and documentation efforts, ensuring effective user acceptance testing and project optimization.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead client workshops to uncover goals and requirements.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, managing expectations and scope.
- Define and shape digital customer experiences through journey mapping and content models.
- Capture and document business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with developers and solution architects on specifications and integrations.
- Contribute to Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Deliver process maps, wireframes, and supporting documentation as necessary.
- Support user acceptance testing, release planning, and post-launch optimization.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a contract Business Analyst in client-facing digital or CMS roles.
- Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Storyblok.
- Strong facilitation skills for workshops with senior and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in defining customer journeys for web or eCommerce platforms.
- Solid Agile/Scrum experience, familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of CMS migration, replatforming, or upgrades.
- Knowledge of APIs and integrations related to eCommerce and CRM systems.
- BA or Agile certification such as BCS, IIBA, or PSPO/CSPO is desirable.
