Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead / CA Gen Developer to spearhead the transformation of legacy Mainframe applications in a significant Mainframe-to-Cloud program. In this role, you will provide technical guidance and expertise while collaborating with teams on various projects, utilizing your knowledge in CA Gen, COBOL, and Java across both Mainframe and Cloud environments. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving the modernization process as well as ensuring effective stakeholder communication throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Mainframe-to-Cloud transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement modern solutions.
- Utilize CA Gen, COBOL, and Java to support application development and migration.
- Conduct system analysis and performance engineering to enhance legacy applications.
- Manage stakeholder communications and expectations effectively.
- Oversee the delivery of key project milestones within the transformation program.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in CA Gen with a focus on COBOL (Mainframe) and Java (Cloud).
- Proven experience in delivering Mainframe-to-Cloud migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of COBOL, Java, DB2, IMS, JCL, and MS SQL.
- Demonstrated ability in performance engineering and system analysis.
- Experience leading complex transformation programs with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Previous work experience in the insurance industry is desirable.
