Overview
The Mobile Application Developer will play a crucial role in leading the development of a new mobile activation app and SDK for an innovative IoT technology business. This position involves working closely with engineering leadership to implement cutting-edge features such as BLE and NFC, while transitioning from a legacy application to a more efficient solution. The developer will manage the project from initial architecture through to delivery, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Build a new mobile app and SDK from scratch.
- Develop BLE background scanning and NFC activation functionalities.
- Work on both native iOS and Android platforms, utilizing Flutter for basic UI screens.
- Deliver production-ready code with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Make technical decisions and own the project delivery from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the Head of Software in an engineering-led environment.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and Swift.
- Solid experience with BLE implementation.
- Experience with NFC technology is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in building native mobile applications.
- Ability to own projects with minimal oversight.
- Experience in IoT or connected device development is a bonus.
