Overview
The Data Engineer role focuses on developing and evolving data products and platforms for a high-growth, globally recognized consumer brand. In this position, you will collaborate closely with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your contributions will drive the improvement of data processes, ensuring scalability and reliability while integrating new data sources.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and data products.
- Build and maintain data models and ELT processes.
- Work extensively with SQL and Python for data management.
- Integrate new data sources and APIs into the existing data platform.
- Improve data quality, observability, and reliability.
- Translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Contribute to architectural and technology decisions.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ELT.
- Programming experience in Python or a similar language.
- Experience with building data pipelines and working with APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data infrastructure and distributed environments.
- Understanding of orchestration and data observability.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including version control and debugging.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
