Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a high-profile digital transformation programme focused on delivering modern cloud-based data solutions for the UK public sector. In this role, you will work within a skilled technical team to design and build scalable data pipelines, support complex data migration activities, and ensure the delivery of secure, high-quality data solutions utilizing AWS technologies. An active SC clearance is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build scalable data migration and transformation solutions.
- Ensure data quality, validation and integrity throughout the migration process.
- Work with cloud technologies to deliver secure, reliable data solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, developers and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Support testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation.
Requirements
- Experience with Python and SQL.
- Proficiency in ETL/data migration and transformation.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of data modelling, validation and quality assurance.
- Experience with relational databases and large-scale datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments is a plus, but not essential.
