Overview
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake to support a critical technology project focused on building a new data platform and executing a major migration. In this role, the contractor will collaborate closely with engineers and technical stakeholders, leveraging their technical expertise to ensure successful delivery of data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the build-out of a new data platform.
- Deliver a Snowflake migration from an existing data environment.
- Design and develop reliable data pipelines and transformation workflows.
- Build and maintain orchestration processes.
- Work hands-on with Snowflake, DBT, Windmill, and Python.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical stakeholders to drive delivery.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake and Python.
- Familiarity with DBT and modern data transformation practices.
- Experience using orchestration tools to manage data pipelines and workflows.
- Previous involvement in data migrations or platform transformation projects.
