Overview
As a Data Modeler, you will focus on designing and implementing advanced data solutions in a fully remote capacity over a 6-month contract. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop modern data platforms and solve complex business problems using data-driven methodologies. This role requires expertise in cloud services and a strong command of data architecture principles, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable and secure data architectures.
- Design modern data platforms leveraging cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Utilize Azure, Dynamics 365, and Databricks/Snowflake for data solutions.
- Build and maintain data models to support business insights.
- Support migrations and integrate modern data frameworks.
- Implement Medallion Architecture and Master Data Management (MDM).
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Modeler.
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud services and the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Power Platform, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Experience in implementing Medallion Architecture and related methodologies.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and system of record principles.
- Ability to solve complex business problems through data solutions.
- Experience with greenfield projects and data migrations.
