Overview
In this contract role, the DevOps, AI and Automation Engineer will develop and enhance AI-enabled DevOps and automation capabilities. The engineer will collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable CI/CD patterns, integrate AI services into deployment workflows, and ensure the successful transfer of knowledge for sustainable practices. This position focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and reliability in line with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable CI/CD patterns and deployment processes for AI-enabled platforms and services.
- Integrate Azure AI Foundry and approved AI services into enterprise deployment workflows and operational processes.
- Identify tooling, controls, and requirements for integrating AI services into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide structured knowledge transfer and operational handover of AI deployments to engineering teams.
- Deliver agreed outcomes in line with defined milestones and provide concise progress reporting against deliverables.
- Identify and implement improvements to the SDLC leveraging AI capabilities to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery speed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps practices and automation engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD & DevSecOps tools, specifically Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog and Grafana.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry and AI integration workflows.
- Ability to deliver documentation and structured processes to ensure knowledge transfer.
