Overview
The role of DevOps, AI and Automation Engineer involves delivering an AI-enabled DevOps and automation capability for a leading insurance firm. The contractor will work with various teams to implement CI/CD patterns, integrate AI services into existing workflows, and ensure effective knowledge transfer to support the scalable adoption of AI-driven engineering practices. This position emphasizes enhancing operational efficiency and reliability through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable CI/CD patterns and deployment processes for AI-enabled platforms and services.
- Integrate Azure AI Foundry and approved AI services into enterprise deployment workflows.
- Identify tooling, controls, and operational requirements for AI service integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide structured knowledge transfer and operational handover of AI deployments to teams.
- Report progress against deliverables, risks, and key decisions in line with milestones.
- Contribute to improving the SDLC using AI capabilities to impact efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps practices and automation, particularly using Azure DevOps.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience with AI services and frameworks, specifically Azure AI Foundry.
