An exciting opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Architect to engage in a significant technology transformation programme within a leading engineering and manufacturing organization. The role involves close collaboration with executive stakeholders and IT leadership, focusing on shaping enterprise technology strategy and supporting complex transformation initiatives. This position allows for flexible hybrid working and emphasizes strategic decision-making in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, principles, and standards.
- Develop current-state and target-state architecture roadmaps.
- Establish and oversee architecture governance frameworks and decision-making processes.
- Align technology strategy with business objectives and future operating models.
- Support major transformation initiatives across ERP, digital, and operational technology programmes.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across delivery teams.
- Drive application rationalization, integration strategy, and platform modernization.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investment opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating as an Enterprise Architect within a complex organization.
- Strong track record of developing enterprise technology strategies and architecture roadmaps.
- Experience implementing architecture governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Broad knowledge across applications, cloud, infrastructure, data, and integration architecture.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging executive-level leaders.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation and change programmes.
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred.
- Desirable experience in ERP transformation programmes, especially in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
