Overview
As an ERP Migration Lead, you will play a crucial role in the ERP transformation process for a leading international transport client. Collaborating with consulting partners and data engineers, your focus will be on building a robust data foundation for Finance, HR, and Procurement by mapping and cleansing data across legacy ERP systems. This position entails significant stakeholder engagement and analytical work to ensure successful migration to a cloud ERP platform.
Responsibilities
- Confirm in-scope data objects and catalogue partner counts.
- Document schemas across legacy ERP estates and the target system.
- Produce migration maps and identify data gaps for remediation.
- Interview stakeholders to capture data field usage and local customizations.
- Design match-and-merge rules to ensure single records for key entities.
- Collaborate with data protection teams on handling personal data throughout the migration process.
- Develop migration pipelines for high-risk data objects, assessing alignment issues.
- Specify data structures suitable for AI use and provide anonymised datasets for experimentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data migration or governance within ERP projects.
- Proficiency in data modelling and profiling, with hands-on SQL and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite and Microsoft Dynamics NAV data models.
- Experience in migrating from on-premise to cloud ERP and HCM systems.
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance regarding HR and payroll data.
- Understanding of Finance, HR, and Procurement concepts.
- Experience in stakeholder interviewing and gathering requirements.
- Desirable knowledge of post-merger data integration and EU AI regulations.
