Overview
We are looking for a Finance Business Analyst with expertise in D365 Finance & Operations to join a global finance transformation program. This role involves collaborating with finance, technology, and operational stakeholders to design and implement future-state finance processes within a complex, international environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful ERP adoption, process standardization, and improved controls across multiple business units.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops to document current and future-state finance processes.
- Design and optimize end-to-end finance processes in line with business objectives and D365 capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications to guide system configuration.
- Identify and manage programme risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs).
- Coordinate deliverables across finance, technology, and transformation workstreams.
- Support finance master data design, governance, and migration activities.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, addressing defects as needed.
- Produce training materials and support user adoption and business readiness activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Finance Process Analysis, Finance Transformation, Business Analysis, or Finance Change roles.
- Experience with ERP implementations, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Business Central.
- Knowledge of finance master data management and migration activities.
- Ability to create process maps, business requirements, functional specifications, and testing documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of core finance processes, such as General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
- Desirable experience in finance transformation or ERP-led change programs.
- Ability to bridge the gap between finance, technology, and operational teams.
