Overview
This contract role for a Full Stack Engineer focuses on developing applications for a cross-asset trading business that emphasizes a technology-first approach. The successful contractor will work primarily with React, .NET, C#, and SQL Server, collaborating with a friendly and innovative team while reporting to senior technology leadership. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the exciting engineering advancements in AI and trading applications, with a hybrid work arrangement allowing for 1-2 days onsite in London.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust front-end applications using React, dedicating approximately 60% of your time to this framework.
- Implement back-end services and API development with .NET and C#, representing around 30% of your role.
- Engage in Microsoft SQL Server database management tasks for approximately 10% of your work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Participate in discussions with senior technology leadership to influence development strategies and best practices.
- Utilize the TanStack suite for data access and routing to enhance application performance and user experience.
- Leverage the latest AI development tools to drive innovative solutions within the trading applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on React, .NET, and C#.
- Familiarity with API design and development principles.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and its functionalities.
- Demonstrated background in regulated environments, particularly within finance or trading sectors.
- Experience with the TanStack suite (Query, Router, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working with AI-enabled development tools and frameworks.
