Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Full Stack .NET development to lead the transformation of internally developed applications and prototypes into production for an investment management firm. This role involves collaborating closely with senior business stakeholders and requires a blend of backend and frontend skills, with a particular focus on C#/.NET, Microsoft Azure, and application architecture, along with the autonomy to drive technical delivery.
Responsibilities
- Take existing applications and prototypes through to production.
- Design, develop and enhance C#/.NET backend services, APIs and integrations.
- Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Review and improve application architecture, code quality, security and scalability.
- Build and deploy applications within Microsoft Azure.
- Integrate applications with Snowflake and other data sources.
- Establish appropriate testing, CI/CD, deployment and monitoring practices.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core development experience.
- Strong Microsoft Azure application development and architecture expertise.
- Commercial Snowflake experience, particularly application integration and data access.
- Frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular or Blazor.
- Practical experience using Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted and agentic development tools.
- Experience delivering software within financial services, investment management or a comparable regulated financial environment.
- Proven experience taking applications from prototype or MVP through to production.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, security, automated testing and CI/CD.
