Overview
The Head of Business Solutions & Systems is a pivotal role within a leading Private Markets firm, designed for a senior technology leader to oversee the Business Solutions and Applications landscape. This position involves leading a team responsible for the strategic selection, implementation, integration, and evolution of critical business technology, while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and various technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Business Solutions and Applications function.
- Provide technical and strategic direction across a comprehensive application landscape.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, integration, and optimization of business-critical systems.
- Manage internal teams, third-party vendors, and technology partners.
- Develop the roadmap for the organization's Business Solutions environment.
- Drive technology change and continuous improvement across the systems landscape.
- Ensure that solutions are integrated across applications, data, architecture, cloud, and infrastructure.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders in investment, finance, and corporate functions.
Requirements
- Proven senior technology leadership experience in Business Applications or Business Solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge in applications, architecture, systems, or technology.
- Experience in Private Markets, Private Equity, Asset Management, or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee the selection and integration of critical applications.
- Broad understanding of solution architecture, data management, cloud technologies, infrastructure, and development.
- Strong management skills to lead multiple teams and vendors effectively.
