Overview
The Lead Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving project execution within the energy sector, focused on delivering high-quality engineering solutions. This position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop essential electrical engineering documentation while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to large-scale energy projects, ensuring effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of electrical engineering projects according to design instructions and project protocols.
- Produce key deliverables including specifications, load lists, and single line diagrams.
- Conduct electrical system studies using ETAP software.
- Manage project scope and ensure compliance with change management processes.
- Participate in procurement activities, including technical bid evaluations.
- Design motor protection and control schematics and review vendor designs for compliance.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain effective client relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of international and local electrical codes and standards, including Aramco SAES.
- Proficient in ETAP or similar electrical engineering software.
- Experience in developing electrical design deliverables such as datasheets and calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope and change processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant engineering degree and appropriate professional certification.
