Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lotus Notes Developer for a 12-month contract to support and enhance our client's Notes/Domino applications, which are vital to their operations. This remote role involves maintaining existing systems, resolving production issues, and facilitating the planned migration to .NET technology. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with both technical teams and end users to ensure smooth implementation of updates and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance Notes/Domino applications.
- Resolve production issues quickly and in accordance with SLA.
- Write and optimise code using LotusScript, @Formula, and JavaScript.
- Build and update XPages and web-facing applications.
- Manage access control lists (ACLs), agents, and application security.
- Support the phased migration of applications to .NET.
- Work directly with users to gather requirements and test changes.
Requirements
- Solid commercial experience with HCL/IBM Notes and Domino (versions 9–14).
- Strong proficiency in LotusScript and @Formula.
- Experience using Domino Designer, including agents, views, forms, and replication.
- Ability to support legacy applications in a live environment.
- Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Nice to have: expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, APIs), XPages, Java, Domino REST, SQL/LDAP integration, and experience with application migration.
