Overview
As a Microsoft Technical Architect (Purview Specialist), you will lead transformative initiatives within the Government and Public Sector, driving the adoption of innovative technological solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data management solutions using Microsoft Purview.
- Inspire and guide engineering teams to achieve project goals and maintain best practices.
- Develop and maintain data catalogues, data maps, and lineage tools to improve data understanding and usage.
- Implement data lifecycle management strategies including record management and retention policies.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project objectives with organizational goals.
- Oversee the integration of data stewardship practices to enhance data governance and quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role in the Government and Public Sector.
- Expertise in Unified Catalog experience, including Data Maps and Data Lineage.
- Familiarity with data products, product definition, stewardship, and ownership.
- Strong understanding of data lifecycle management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview and related data governance tools is preferred.
