Overview
The Modern Workplace Lead Consultant will play a pivotal role in a large-scale Microsoft 365 transformation programme. Working primarily in a remote capacity, this position focuses on governance, compliance, and AI readiness, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions across the Microsoft Modern Workplace stack. The consultant will leverage their expertise to guide and implement best practices while preparing the organization for future advancements.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
- Gather, clarify, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
- Provide consultancy expertise across Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies.
- Support the design and implementation of governance, retention, and compliance strategies.
- Advise on Microsoft 365 best practices and adoption approaches.
- Work closely with programme and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Support organizations in preparing their Microsoft 365 estate for Copilot and future AI initiatives.
- Produce documentation, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps as required.
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft Purview.
- Proven experience operating in a Lead Consultant capacity.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience gathering, refining, and prioritizing requirements.
- Excellent planning, organization, and delivery capabilities.
- Desirable: Project Management experience.
- Desirable: Business Analysis experience.
