Overview
We are seeking two Platform Engineers to join a critical cloud security and compliance program within a leading technology organization. In this hands-on role, you will focus on enhancing the security, resilience, and governance of a significant AWS platform, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in cloud architecture and engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the enhancement of security and compliance in the AWS platform.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes and EKS for application deployments.
- Create and maintain IAM policies and ensure effective cloud security practices.
- Utilize CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and monitoring tools to enhance observability.
- Document cloud architecture and infrastructure for compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with teams to streamline governance processes related to cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AWS platform engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS.
- Experience with IAM and cloud security protocols.
- Familiarity with CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and observability tools.
- Ability to document cloud architecture and infrastructure effectively.
- Experience in security or compliance-focused engineering projects is a plus.
