Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end procurement activities for a range of complex projects in a fast-paced environment. This role involves developing innovative procurement strategies while collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. The successful candidate will manage supplier relationships and oversee procurement governance, ensuring timely and successful contract awards.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activity across various projects.
- Develop innovative procurement strategies that deliver commercial value.
- Apply insights from PA23 knowledge confidently in procurement processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create practical, outcome-focused solutions.
- Utilize digital tools and data to enhance procurement outcomes.
- Manage suppliers and commercial risk while ensuring procurement governance.
- Deliver complex and time-critical procurements through to contract award.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a procurement professional, adept at working in fast-paced settings.
- Strong practical knowledge and experience with PA23 procurement processes.
- Innovative and commercially minded, with a willingness to challenge conventional procurement approaches.
- Experience in digital, technology, and/or defence procurement is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
- Current MOD SC Security Clearance is mandatory.
