Overview
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead innovative and strategic procurement processes within a dynamic environment. The role involves managing complex procurements, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and implementing creative solutions that deliver commercial value. The successful candidate will work independently while supporting the organization in achieving its procurement goals, alongside infrequent travel to Portsmouth and London.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across various projects.
- Develop innovative procurement strategies that enhance commercial value.
- Utilize PA23 knowledge effectively in procurement processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement practical and outcome-focused solutions.
- Employ digital tools and data to improve procurement outcomes.
- Manage suppliers, mitigate commercial risks, and oversee governance in procurement.
- Ensure timely delivery of complex procurements up to contract award.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a procurement professional in high-paced environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of PA23 regulations and methodologies.
- Ability to think innovatively and challenge conventional procurement processes.
- Desirable experience in digital, technology, or defence procurement sectors.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management and communication.
- Comfortable working independently in a rapidly changing environment.
- Must possess current MOD SC Security Clearance.
