Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Contract Project Manager to spearhead a critical operational recovery project. In this role, you will work closely with various teams to create structure in a complex scenario, ensuring that recovery plans lead to tangible progress by coordinating multiple workstreams and managing both facilities and infrastructure delivery, as well as supplier management.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver the project plan with clear milestones, owners, and dependencies.
- Coordinate premises and infrastructure work with external contractors and suppliers.
- Manage insurance-related activities, documentation, and communication with external stakeholders.
- Establish temporary operating arrangements and support a phased return to normal operations.
- Work with internal teams on resourcing, communications, and operational changes.
- Manage budgets, risks, and issues, providing clear reporting to senior leadership.
- Oversee the transition into a stable, sustainable operation.
Requirements
- Proven project management experience in operational environments.
- Experience in delivering facilities, relocation, reinstatement, or infrastructure projects.
- Practical experience managing insurance claims and liaising with insurers or loss adjusters.
- A track record in managing business disruption, recovery, or continuity projects.
- Strong supplier, customer, and senior stakeholder management skills.
- A calm, practical approach with the confidence to make decisions and keep delivery moving.
