Overview
As a Product Engineer at an early-stage HealthTech startup, you will be pivotal in building an AI-powered healthcare platform aimed at improving human health. In this full-stack role, primarily utilizing Python, you will collaborate closely with the CTO, engineering team, and design and clinical teams to develop core consumer features and maintain a high-quality codebase. This position emphasizes a balance between technical execution and strategic product decisions, focusing on end-user impact and iterative development.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship high-quality consumer features from concept to production.
- Develop APIs, integrations, async data-processing pipelines, and backend systems.
- Contribute to the development of React and React Native applications.
- Shape product ideas and make technical decisions in collaboration with leadership.
- Maintain a well-structured, typed, and tested codebase.
- Take ownership of infrastructure, database queries, and CI/CD processes as needed.
- Utilize AI development tools to enhance product outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficient in Python with strong software development fundamentals.
- Experience building asynchronous systems or data-processing workflows.
- Demonstrated experience delivering real, consumer-facing products.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and contribute to product strategy.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.
- Proven track record of transforming loosely defined problems into effective solutions.
