Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Project Manager to lead transformation projects for mid-market clients. This remote role will involve working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to oversee the full project lifecycle, manage dependencies, and ensure successful implementation of SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in SAP delivery, allowing them to challenge design decisions and translate complex architectural choices into practical business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud projects through the full delivery lifecycle.
- Own integrated plans, RAID, dependencies, budgets, milestones, and project governance.
- Manage delivery across functional, technical, data, integration, and business workstreams.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and functional leads to assess design impacts.
- Identify and manage dependencies between configuration, integrations, and testing.
- Challenge architecture or delivery decisions that introduce unnecessary risks or costs.
- Lead customer meetings and ensure effective project communication.
- Manage offshore and distributed delivery teams effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager with successful SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
- Strong understanding of SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard methodology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Public Cloud architecture, including Clean Core and Integrations.
- Experience in prior SAP functional consulting or solution architecture roles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a customer-facing environment.
- Experience with offshore or distributed SAP delivery teams.
- Comfortable in a hands-on project management role versus purely governance functions.
- Ability to adapt delivery style for mid-market customer needs and environments.
