Overview
We are seeking an SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM Data Analyst to join a transformative SAP S/4HANA program on an 18-month contract. In this role, you will collaborate with business and site stakeholders to gather, prepare, and validate Asset Management and Plant Maintenance data for migration to S/4HANA. This position requires an individual with 1–3 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance or related data roles, capable of engaging directly with business users while utilizing Excel to manage large data sets.
Responsibilities
- Gather and consolidate SAP Plant Maintenance and Asset Management master data from existing systems.
- Work with relevant SAP master data objects and understand migration requirements.
- Obtain, extract, manipulate, and verify data through collaboration with site representatives and SMEs.
- Complete and maintain Excel-based data load templates for migration into S/4HANA.
- Support mock data loads and migration cycles, ensuring data validation and quality checks.
- Identify gaps, errors, and inconsistencies after each data load, working to resolve issues.
- Track progress against data migration deadlines and escalate issues as necessary.
- Contribute to wider migration, testing, and implementation activities as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 years' experience with SAP Plant Maintenance, Asset Management, or related SAP data roles.
- Understanding of SAP PM and Asset Management master data objects.
- Experience with data migration, data cleansing, or master data preparation is beneficial.
- Familiarity with data load templates and conducting mock/test loads.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, particularly in manipulating and validating large data sets.
- Good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform data validation and investigate discrepancies thoroughly.
- Confident in communication, working closely with business users and site teams.
